Addressing Basic Needs, Restoring Dignity
At Random Humanitarian, we focus on five fundamental areas that make the biggest difference in the lives of displaced Sudanese families. Each cause addresses a critical need that helps families survive with dignity and hope for a better future.
Food Assistance
Providing nutritious meals to families who have lost everything. Many Sudanese children go days without proper food. Your donation ensures that families receive regular food packages containing rice, beans, oil, and fortified grains. $5 provides a child with meals for an entire day.
Shelter & Tents
Providing safe, weather-resistant tents for families who have lost their homes. Our tents offer protection from harsh weather conditions and create private spaces for families to rebuild their lives. Each tent serves a family of 4-6 people and lasts approximately 12-18 months in refugee camp conditions.
Education
Ensuring displaced children continue their education despite conflict. We establish temporary learning spaces, provide school supplies, and support local teachers. Education gives children hope for the future and prevents a lost generation. Currently, we support 180 children in 3 makeshift schools within refugee camps.
Clothing
Providing essential clothing to families who fled with only what they were wearing. We distribute weather-appropriate clothing, shoes, and blankets. Many families arrive in refugee camps with torn, inadequate clothing unsuitable for harsh conditions. Your donation provides dignity and protection from the elements.
Sanitary Towels for Girls
Providing dignity and health to women and girls in refugee camps. Many girls miss school and face health risks due to lack of menstrual hygiene products. We distribute reusable sanitary pads and provide hygiene education. This program keeps girls in school and prevents infections and stigma.
