Real People, Real Impact
Behind every statistic is a human story. Here, we share the personal journeys of the families and individuals we support. These stories show how your donations create real, lasting change in the lives of those affected by the Sudan War.
Duwana: A Story of Hope and Education
Meet Duwana, a 14-year-old girl from Sudan who lost both her parents in the conflict. When we found her, she was living with distant relatives who couldn't afford to send her to school. Duwana is one of the very many girls we sponsor fully through our education program.
"Before Random Humanitarian, I thought I would never go to school again. Now I dream of becoming a doctor to help others like me." - Duwana
Today, Duwana attends school regularly, has all her supplies covered, and receives mentorship from our team. She's at the top of her class in mathematics and wants to pursue medicine. Her story represents hundreds of other girls we support through education sponsorship programs.
