Random Humanitarian is a purely humanitarian organization that is not affiliated with any religion, religious group, or government entity. We maintain complete independence from political, religious, or governmental influence.

Our mission is simple: to help children and families affected by the Sudan War. This is for anyone who wants to help a child or family without any ideological association. You won't be praised for your donation—your reward is knowing that every penny goes directly to:

Feeding and caring for children in need
Settling war victims safely within African refugee camps
Providing emergency shelter and medical care within African camps

100% of donations go directly to the children and settling war victims within African refugee camps. The only exception is if someone wishes to personally take in a child or family for refuge, which we can facilitate through proper channels.

We are a student organization working directly with affected families on the ground. Every dollar donated goes directly to those in need, with minimal administrative costs.

Random Humanitarian is a non-profit organization founded by students who saw the urgent need to help victims of the Sudan War. With a small team of 26 dedicated people working directly with Sudanese communities, we deliver aid where it's needed most—within African refugee camps.

Our Ground Team

We have 26 committed individuals working directly in Sudan, identifying the most vulnerable families and ensuring they are settled safely within African refugee camps. They work tirelessly, often in dangerous conditions, to bring hope to those who have lost everything.

Our Work in Sudan

Understanding the Sudan War Crisis

Sudan's devastating civil war, starting April 2023, stems from a power struggle between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) led by Gen. al-Burhan and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by Gen. Hemedti. The conflict escalated from disputes over integrating the RSF into the army and transitioning to civilian rule after Omar al-Bashir's 2019 ousting. Deep roots involve historical power-sharing issues, economic control of gold mines, and the RSF's origin from Darfur's Janjaweed militia, creating rival power centers that clashed over the country's future. Over 12 million people have been displaced, creating the world's largest humanitarian crisis.

Emergency Shelters in African Refugee Camps

Through your donations, we purchase and distribute durable family tents designed for harsh climates to provide immediate protection. Each shelter follows humanitarian standards, providing at least 3.5 square meters per person. For longer-term settlements, we collaborate with local communities to build transitional shelters using locally-sourced materials, creating more permanent housing solutions that respect cultural preferences and environmental conditions in African refugee camps.

Life Within African Refugee Camps

Daily life in refugee camps is incredibly challenging. We provide basic necessities including clean water through water purification systems, sanitation facilities to prevent disease outbreaks, cooking fuel, blankets, and clothing. Despite these efforts, conditions remain tough with overcrowding, limited resources, and psychological trauma from war experiences. Our volunteers work directly with families to provide psychosocial support and help maintain dignity in extremely difficult circumstances.

Urgent: Food for Sudanese Children in African Camps

The food situation in Sudanese refugee camps has reached catastrophic levels. Over 5 million children face acute malnutrition, with 750,000 at risk of starvation. We provide emergency food packages containing fortified flour, cooking oil, lentils, and nutritional supplements for children under five. Your urgent donation can provide a child with life-saving therapeutic food for just $50 per month. Every day without adequate nutrition puts thousands of children at risk of permanent physical and cognitive damage.
